The Firefly 12 utilizes 12 super bright LEDs with a broad angle beam to provide even light throughout a room, or if focused on a desk - a bright reading lamp. It also works great as a flashlight, or a night light. The included high-output 1 watt solar panel will fully change the lamp with 5 hours of direct sunlight. When fully charged, the Firefly 12 will provide 4 hrs of bright light, 7 hrs of medium light, or 50 hrs of light on the night light setting. The Firefly12 on its brightest setting is about 10 times brighter than a kerosene lamp. These bright, robust, versatile solar LED lights sell like hotcakes in Kenya, Uganda, Papua New Guinea, and 17 other countries.
